Day 6: Complete (sort of)
Morning session: 8.23 miles
Evening session: 4.69 miles
Total distance: 12.92 miles
Second run fell short today, but I had an excuse. Well, maybe a couple. I went for my run around 5 PM (instead of 7ish), because the Cubs were on ESPN at 6 PM. Had to be back in time! ;) Plus, my first run was real productive, so I figured it was justified.
I actually felt better physically than I felt in any of the first five days. Maybe I'm finally loosening up. Maybe it's the fact that I watched an episode (OK, OK, 2 and 1/2 episodes) of Saved by the Bell before going for my morning run, giving myself the chance to actually wake up first.
Apologies in advance, but since this is my blog, after all, this pic is for my own enjoyment. Reckon I'll try to get at least one pic in each blog, anyway, so why not?
Anyway, remember Kelly Kapowski? Because I do...
OK, where was I? Oh yes...tomorrow will be the end of my first full week of running (obviously, with it being the 7th, and all). I'll probably give a weekly total tomorrow night, even though my updates will typically be on Fridays.
Created yet another blog on another site today. This new one will never get read by anyone, I'm sure. It's a branch of the MLB.com network, and realizing not a single one of you (however many there are, anyway) who read this will care, this is the link, anyway:

It's all about the Cubs. Hence the reason no one will care. But I figure maybe some of my fellow Cub fan nuts out there might stumble across it sometime, so I gave it a whirl, at least for now...
Speaking of which, the boys are 5-1 so far in July. Just saying.
Nothing else much to say here. This one was a bit weak (not that the others haven't been). :)
D, out.
Well I'm glad to hear that your running went well today. I'm just a little ... umm.. maybe disappointed that I logged back on to see the true guy side of you come out. Lol oh well, everyone deserves an off night. ;)
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Thanks, Matti. Couldn't help myself. :) lol
