Day 18: Complete
Morning session: 8.16 miles
Evening session: 6.12 miles
Total distance: 14.28 miles
Today was a day of soreness. The evening run came at 4:30ish, since the Cubs game came on at 6, so less time off in between runs hurt a little bit, too. But I'm now at the point (give or take 1/2 a mile) where I was through all of last June (approximately 225 miles). And it's only the 18th. Not bad, I figure.
Note: I'm suddenly noticing that my calves are hard as rock right now (compared to what I'm used to, anyway). That's a good thing--right? Maybe. I dunno.
I really should be doing some serious sit-ups and push-ups, in order to work on the midsection, and increase my weight loss opportunities, but after all the running, I'm generally just too sore. Oops. :)
Next movie on tap: Hardball. Funny, yet touching flick. Definitely worth watching, whether you've seen it or not...
